The Honda GX270 engine is an 8.4 hp net power overhead valve, commercial series engine with a horizontal shaft, electronic ignition, and automatic decompressor. Its applications include: air compressors, generators, pumps, pressure washer-sprayers, concrete finishers, and construction equipment. *Previously rated at 9 hp. Reduced by the global unification program for Industrial Engines.
