Transformation hako hakorette 200 engine Bernard 417 by Villier g200
The motor can be fitted without using a special plate. Use the rear oblong holes (in the maximum forward position) then drill 2 holes at the front.
The rear aluminum pulley needs to be shortened by 10mm to correct the alignment. Disadvantages: the quick-release belt position is no longer possible unless the exhaust is changed to a vertical one (I wasn't using it with the original engine anyway).
The engine is a Villier G200 with a 19.05mm keyed shaft, remote throttle, and oil bath air filter. A smoke deflector is used.
All that remains is to cut out the exhaust cover and the timing belt cover. A support bracket (here in aluminum) is then made and screwed directly onto the block using a screw with imperial threads (ordered with the engine).
With this setup, I was able to reuse the original belt.
This engine offers both quieter operation and increased torque.
Thank you to the team for their responsiveness and precise answers.
