Mountfield M1 ESTATE tiller with KOHLER XT-7 engine
"This is an old rototiller (chassis and accessories in perfect condition) from around 1975, for which I do not have the original engine.
I managed to get it working for a test with an old Briggs & Stratton Quantum XM 55 (199 cc) lawnmower engine, but the crankshaft was too short."
We recommended the KOHLER XT-7 engine to him, and to make the speed variable, as it is usually fixed on lawnmower engines, we advised him to use a Kohler engine throttle lever and an accelerator cable.
The assembly was completed without difficulty.
