This purchase was due to the engine seizing on my old rototiller, bought in January 1983 (photo: 1). The new engine arrived by home delivery 5 days after the purchase. I could then begin disassembly (photo: 2) and retrieve the pulley mounted on the horizontal shaft. Note (photos: 3 & 4) that the engines are reversed, so the starter must be rotated 120 degrees and the new engine installed correctly to align the shaft with the right side of the rototiller. Installing the new engine was then straightforward (photos: 5 & 6). Next, I installed the remote throttle control using the existing mounting point on the fuel tank (photo: 7) after removing the exhaust for better access. With the installation complete, all that remained was to add oil and fuel for a first test in the garden (photo: 8). Everything works perfectly, and the engine is very quiet and has the same power as the old one. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
