Here's the result after a few hours of work. Assembly was fairly straightforward with the kit provided. A small modification was made to the exhaust: cutting the heat shield and repositioning the deflector. Fitting the pulley with the bushing was quite easy, and the throttle cable was perfect after some thought about how to attach it to the engine. A few hammer blows, a drill hole, and a spot weld for the belt guide, oil level checked, full of gas, two pulls of the starter cord, and voilà, a new lease of life for the rototiller! A few turns with the tiller and everything was good to go. Then a few touches of paint on the housings, their installation once dry, and here's the final result. Now for a longer test run and a better long-term assessment when the weather improves. Happy gardening everyone!
