Making a roller with an old Iseki tiller (kc2 kf 250) and two concrete nozzles with an outside diameter of 27cm, in order to give it a second life.
First, I completely disassembled the entire motor assembly and the cutters. I used the cutter shafts, which I centered using threaded rods and nuts that I passed through the cutter shafts. The threaded rod diameter was 10mm, which allowed me to center the shafts. I then filled the assembly with concrete. Each piece of the roller was 40cm long and weighed 46kg.
Secondly, I used the old engine mount and moved the two engine fixings forward and extended the engine mount by 8cm with a U-shaped piece of iron. Then I installed the new Villiers engine. I had no problems putting it in place. I had to make a modification to the exhaust outlet to divert the outlet because the gases would have exited in front of the clutch cable, which could have damaged it with the hot gases.
In third place I did not keep the original engine pulley, I put another slightly smaller pulley with a diameter of 5.5cm (the original one is 6.5 and the other is 8cm), the original one can also work, I installed a new throttle control as well as a belt which is longer than the original one.
For the test, no problem, the 163cc Villiers engine is more than sufficient, which allows me to have a very wide range of forward speed between idle and full throttle in first and reverse gear, I can also use second gear which is still faster, the Villiers engine drives the whole thing without flinching.
I am quite satisfied with this combination with the Villiers engine.
