Repowering Honda F28 with Honda G160 QX

Remotorisation Honda F28 avec Honda G160 QX

I bought a Honda GX 160 engine to replace a G28 engine from an F28 tiller.
I made an intermediate base plate so that I could reuse the original G28 mounting point. A small cut will just be needed in the protective housing so that the lever can be properly positioned.
There is no danger in doing that.
The GX 160 motor is fixed to this plate by 4 M8x50 countersunk head screws, a flat washer and a spring compressor and a nyloc nut.
I also reused the original pulleys, inserting a 15mm ring between them.
And, moreover, I'm using my original clutch system, but it still needs a small adjustment, it only works with the handle fully raised.
In any case, I can reuse all the original adjustment modes (moving the 2 engine anchor pins forward or backward for belt tension).
I have attached the plan for the plaque as well as photos of the finished product.

The only downside is the accelerator cable which is mounted from the front.
It might be necessary to add a small counterweight at the rear; it tends to tip over, and if the front stand is not lowered, there is a risk of damaging the cable.
