Hello, following the purchase of an engine kit for an F28/G28 rototiller on 4/5/2018
A friend gave me this rototiller because he no longer used it but he remembered that it worked.
After a basic check, I was able to get it running again, but it ran very poorly until the engine stopped and it was impossible to restart. After inspection, I detected a problem with the timing and significant wear on the system (gears, chain, etc.).
Given the price of parts and how difficult it is to find them, that's why I looked for an engine and came across your kit.
What I liked about this machine model was the possibility of removing the engine for other applications (motor pump and others...)
So when I received the new motor I made a mounting plate with notches like the old motor to allow for quick removal and I drilled oblong holes to allow for a greater range of adjustment and thus this allowed me to keep the cutter clutch with the handle (safer than starting by acceleration)
The only difficult point for improvement was the accelerator cable, but it's not the most difficult part to remove.
Then I added 2 protective plates above the cutters to protect the new motor from dirt splashes and I made a wheel for transport because it no longer had the accessories.
